On the northern shores of Lake Taupō, an impressive riff on modernism is laid out across a generous 415sqm footprint. The lakeside oasis takes a few design cues from the classics in Palm Springs, presenting them with understated elegance on this narrow section. In fact, the shape of the site influenced the design, which maximises dreamy lake views and has a private courtyard for shelter from the prevailing winds.
