About Haimes Building Limited

Haimes Building Limited is a specialised building company in Taupo, New Zealand. Set up in 1996 by husband and wife team Mark and Tanya Haimes, the company builds and renovates high quality, architecturally-designed homes in the Taupo region.

 

 

Mark Haimes has 20 years building experience. He personally manages every building project the company undertakes and is frequently on-site working with his team.

 

As a client you speak directly with Mark in the planning, building or renovating of your home; not an intermediary. Mark’s team are the builders of your home.

 

Tanya is the office manager.

 

 

It’s important for you as a client to feel involved in the creation or renovation of your home, especially if you don’t live locally.

 

Mark and his team regularly record the construction progress digitally on camera and place the images directly onto this website in the ‘login’ page. Armed with your own personal login number, you can go on-line any time to check on progress.

 

Each login is personal, so nobody else but you can watch your home being built.

 

 

The CD provides detailed information on all the materials and fittings used in your home, such as the kitchen cabinetry, floors, roof, exterior cladding and weather proofing. If you later decide to sell, prospective buyers will welcome having access to this comprehensive inventory of information.

 

Also included on the CD is the full palette of colours used in decorating your home. Having these details at your fingertips is invaluable should you ever decide to redecorate.

 

The Haimes team are craftsmen. They are meticulous with finer details and set high standards for excellent finishing.

 

The team is trained in all aspects of tiling, timber flooring, cabinetry and kitchen installations.

 

 

The Haimes team includes nine permanent team members, seven of whom are experienced, professional builders and two are adult trainees.

 

The company sources local businesses, where possible, for sub-contractor work. Mark personally manages the work of all sub-contractors.

 

Haimes Building Limited is affiliated to the Registered Master Builders Federation.
